How does Tech Prep work?

Tech Prep programs allow high school students to graduate under any state-approved graduation plan and earn a head start in some college AAS (associate of applied science) degree programs.  The goal of our Tech Prep program is to provide our students a pathway to career skills which may begin as early at the 9th grade.

Tech Prep combines college-prep academic courses with articulated (dual credit) classes at the high school level which lead into a community college degree plan.  Since these courses can count for both high school and college credit, they can give students a "jump start" toward career success.
