On a personal note to parents:
In the next few days, these students will no longer be Middle School students. They will have earned their wings and be ready to soar into the world of High School. I know that many of you have experienced this time with another child previously, but for some of you this is your first experience. I encourage you to continue to support your child, but also give them the room to experience life – everything that is around them. This includes the natural consequences that come from making the wrong choice. Still talk to them, be their “cheerleader”, but remember that as parents we still have parental responsibilities and while we want to be our child’s “friend”, they have plenty of friends, and they still need direction and supervision. There are many times they need us to say “No” or “That is not O.K.” - enough of that “mushy stuff”.
It has been my pleasure and honor to have worked with you and your child. May you continue to receive blessings.
Always,
Mrs. Mc
(Mrs. McGuire)
