GIFTED AND TALENTED PROGRAM

"Gifted and talented student" means a child or youth who performs at or shows the potential for
performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same
age, experience, or environment and who:
Exhibits high performance capability in an intellectual, creative, or artistic area.
Possesses an unusual capacity of leadership or

All faculty members have attended 30-hours of training in recognizing, accessing, identifying and instructing gifted and talented students in our district.  Faculty members are required to attend two 8-hour sessions to stay current in Gifted and Talented.
